Don't, except very large ones. It is toxic to some small bonsai, as I
discovered to my chagrin. Use very very sparingly. Better to use less drastic
measures. Unless you have chlorosis, don't worry about it.

And even then there are better things to do to resolve the
problem.
As Nina said, use of a balanced fertilizer with chelated
iron and other micronutrients certainly will help. You
also can buy a bottle of the basic micronutrients, that
includes all the needed chelated forms and add his to your
fertilizer or if you water with a watering can your water
solution to boost the micronutrients since those present in
many fertilizers are available in just barely adequate amounts.
I add micros to all of my bottles of fish emulsion
fertilizers and have eliminated chlorosis problems in my
azaleas -- grown in 90% turface.
